Hafner gets 81st

May 20th, 2012 by pbr

Travis Hafner extending his Indians plunk record to 81 yesterday, getting hit by Anibal Sanchez.  That was his 5th of the 2012 season, which ties him for the Major League lead with Ryan Braun, Josh Willingham and teammate Shin-Soo Choo.

Ben Revere got his first RBI plunk, and his third plunk overall yesterday, on a 7th inning bases loaded HBP from Juan Perez.  That was the first time Perez ever hit a batter with the bases loaded.  That was the 199th plunk in the history of games between the Twins and Brewers.
